A McKenzie Friend, is someone who can attend court or a Public Inquiry with you, who isn't legally trained, but has experience in a court setting. They can observe, take notes for you, give you a steer in relation to your evidence, review case notes and evidence, but cannot speak on your behalf like a solicitor would. A McKenzie Friend is a great asset when representing yourself at court or Public Inquiry, and they are accepted by the courts, as authorised attendees.
No! Whilst our speciality is transport related, we are qualified to audit any management system, in any industry sector. Similarly, a McKenzie Friend can attend any hearing, or procedural meeting, to take notes, and help you understand the process, although the specialism is in transport.
